Similar to the amazing Hilton deal that American Express is offering, you will now get S$50 statement credit when you spend S$300 on any Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts across Asia Pacific so long you check-out before 31 December 2016 - registration is absolutely necessary and this offer is only limited to the first 15,000 successful card registrations.
The promotion mechanics are pretty similar and you will get S$50 statement credit so long you charge at least S$300 in one transaction - you can earn this once at every participating property:
- Swissotel Sydney
- Swissotel The Stamford, Singapore
- Swissotel Merchant Court, Singapore
- Swissotel Nankai Osaka
- Swissotel Nai Lert Park, Bangkok
- Swissotel Le Concorde, Bangkok
- Swissotel Resort Phuket Kamala Beach
- Swissotel Resort Phuket Patong Beach
- Swissotel Beijing
- Swissotel Grand Shanghai
- Swissotel Foshan
- Swissotel Kunshan

From 31 July 2019, the Love Dining benefit across all participating restaurants within the Conrad Centennial Singapore will end.
Today, American Express has launched a year-long offer to give cardmembers who shop at any participating Dairy Farm Group brands a S$3 credit, up to 15 times.
If you are heading to Thailand this month, make sure you save the latest New Thailand Merchants offer on American Express - simply spend at least THB 3,500 to get a S$10 statement credit at across participating locations in Thailand (mostly in Bangkok).
Centurion and Platinum Members save 10-15% off Business Class and First Class fares on Singapore Airlines on average - this partnership appears to be valid until end of 2020!
I recently booked the IAP Rate for Singapore Airlines in Business Class online and did not get 5X MR Points awarded - these have now been adjusted retrospectively but is this just a one-off gesture?
The time to indulge and be rewarded is here - Hilton Honors members will now be able to earn 5,000 Hilton Honors bonus points when they stay at least two nights at any participating Waldorf Astoria or Conrad hotels & resorts until 31 December 2020 (yes that’s the end of next year!). If you have been thinking about a long weekend staycation, there is no better time than to do it right now.
The American Express Chillax Program needs no introduction - Platinum (including credit card) members get to enjoy 1-for-1 drinks at some of the best bars and restaurants in Singapore. Just to be clear, this benefit is extended to holders of The Centurion Card, The Platinum Card, The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card and The American Express Platinum Credit Card issued in Singapore. Today, Amrith by The Song of India has joined the ranks of the other merchants to offer a similar benefit.
SingSaver is currently running a Battle of Cards campaign and it spans across three categories and periods. Each 'battle' (in the field of Travel, Cashback and Rewards) comes with four credit cards that you can choose from and most of these credit cards come with a SingSaver exclusive gift (this means to say that you will not get this bonus if you apply for the card elsewhere). From now until 12 May 2019, apply for at least one of the cards in the travel battle to stand a chance to win S$50 (if you pick the most popular credit card) and 50,000 KrisFlyer Miles (grand prize).
Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways are now participating airlines in the American Express International Airline Programme and when I compared the IAP to public rates a couple of days ago, Business Class tickets on Singapore Airlines were 28% cheaper (but on average they are approximately 10-15% lower which is still an amazing deal!).
The Platinum Card from American Express offers plenty of benefits and with the recent inclusion of Singapore Airlines in the International Airline Programme (IAP), this card has gotten a lot more useful for me since I can now book Business Class flights at a significant discount (and still earn miles/PPS Value from them)! If you have been on the fence about this charge card, check out my previous article on how I actually rationalised paying for the S$1,712 annual fee.
