American Express Adds Qantas Frequent Flyer as Travel Partner - Convert MR Points into Qantas Points

American Express has just added Qantas Frequent Flyer as the latest travel partner - you can now convert your Membership Rewards (MR) points into Qantas Points. These points can be redeemed for flights with Qantas, Jetstar, as well as oneworld member and partner airlines. If you hold The Platinum Card, you will be able to convert your MR Points into Qantas Points at a relatively-favourable rate with no administrative fees.

There are only three other banks in Singapore that will allow you to convert your credit card points into Qantas Points - DBS Bank, Standard Chartered (for holders of the X Card) and Citi Singapore. With Qantas Frequent Flyer as a new travel partner, American Express Platinum Members can convert 400 MR Points into 250 Qantas Points. All Centurion and Platinum members are currently earning double MR Points until 20 July 2020 under the Double Rewards Campaign so this might be a great time to boost your MR Point balance if you are planning redeem them for Qantas Points.
