30X Membership Rewards Points (11.7 MPD) on Montblanc, Piaget and Roger Dubuis for Platinum Card Members
American Express is offering Platinum Card Members the opportunity to earn 30 Membership Rewards Points (equivalent to 11.7 miles per dollar) for every full S$1.60 spent on Montblanc, Piaget and Roger Dubuis from now until 15 November 2018. Bonus Membership Rewards Points are only awarded on up to S$16,000 worth of eligible purchases at EXTRA Partners in Singapore between 01 January 2018 and 31 December 2018.

While it may be cheaper to purchase these overseas, you are legally obliged to pay GST on these purchases when you re-enter Singapore. If you are planning on taking advantage of this promotion, it is worth noting that some of these participating outlets are located in Marina Bay Sands (which has its own Sands Rewards LifeStyle program which you can double-dip on) as well as Changi Airport (which has the Changi Rewards program) so make sure you consider these before making the purchase. American Express has unveiled its 2026 roadmap for The Platinum Card, signaling a major shift from statement credits to curated experiences. Effective 2026, the Local Dining, Entertainment, and Fashion credits will cease. In their place, Card Members will receive a complimentary Table for Two dining experience every two months, plus a refreshed S$400 Platinum Wine Credit.
