How Long Does It Take to Convert Chope-Dollars to KrisFlyer Miles - Mine Posted Within 1 Business Day!
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the newly-implemented cap on Chope in using Chope-Dollars for KrisFlyer Miles. Since I do have quite a number of Chope-Dollars (C$) that will be expiring this year, I have started to convert them in KrisFlyer Miles (even though you are better off using them for a $30 ChopeDeals Voucher instead).

As mentioned previously, Chope has now limited the redemption of KrisFlyer Miles to just once a month - with only five months left this year, the maximum number of C$ that you will be able to convert into KrisFlyer Miles is just 6,000 (so if you have a pretty healthy balance right now, you may wish to convert some of that into miles). The conversion rate is not the best but it is not terrible either - 1,200 C$ can be converted into 1,000 KrisFlyer Miles.
On the other hand, 1,000 C$ can be used to redeem for a $30 ChopeDeals Voucher - this is a better use of C$ since it gives you more value per C$. Redeeming my C$ for KrisFlyer Miles took only one business day which is great news for people looking for a last-minute boost to their accounts (perfect for those looking to use their KrisFlyer Miles for the monthly Spontaneous Escapes).
